    Hi All,I am basically looking for shops or societies that will offer good kanjeevaram sarees at a reasonable rate in kanchipuram .I will be in kanchipuram only for 5 hours , so wanted to know the best shopping destination for reasonable kanjeevaram sarees..Thanks

    Lots of societies are there in Kancheepuram.
    Anna, Murugan and Kamakshi silk weaver societies are good, have purchased for weddings there and when we buy in bulk there is a good discount too.
    Another option is, if you know someone in Kancheepuram, can go and order/ purchase directly from weavers too. We sometimes order there directly- designs and colours of our choice and in 3 to 4 weeks sarees would be ready.
    Can be assured of zari and silk quality.
