which mattress to buy ?

Try serta,sleepys etc any brand very firm mattress. most of the mattress has issues here and most of the ppl, indian and americans do have lots of issues with mattress.

You can try firm latex mattresses too. you can also check for mattress toppers to put on the top of your mattress and see how it works. sometimes very firm mattress toppers works cheaper.
You can also try mattress in ikea.

 

serta...... i have stearns & foster also but as personal experience i wud say serta .

Recently I have replaced my Mattress, box springs, cot etc..
Bought Sealy Plush Cal-King from Costco for $700(with tax). There was a $160 offer on it at store till last week, I snapped one. So far so good.

stearns & foster is better but adds up $1000 more to what I have paid.. Also that was a pillow top to sink in.. I hate to sink in the soft plush

 

I bought Serta Audey firm mattress from sears.good one..Using it for an year now..

 

You might find cotton mattress from Bed and wood useful for replicating what is provided in India. Its popular on the east coast.
