@SunPa cast iron is lovely for omelette.. have the Lodge skillet, and it's good, and I personally believe, makes yummier omelettes..

On a related note, do you ladies use nonstick or cast iron tawa for making dosas?

@Bubbles- Yes.. I do rinse out my utensils. Food does get stuck on stainless steel.. its better to rinse with baking soda before it goes into the dishwasher.

It is by Cuisinart a tri ply set. Here is a similar one on Amazon. Unfortunately, Costco does not sell it anymore. When I bought it, it was selling like a hot cake. Within a week only few sets were left and got mine for $50 less than their usual Costco Price. tingggggg :cheer::cheer:But they have good comparable ones at heavy discount.

IF you do not mind waiting for the whole set, I would suggest keep a close watch and shop during sales in October or better yet December.

@blindpup10 Hmmmm I've been having to pre-rinse as well, and though I've used baking soda for heavy stains, haven't really done it as a baking soda wash.. let me try..

@blessings1010 wow! great suggestion.. will surely watch out.. adding to black-friday-deals list

@SunPa both might be a bit heavy to carry? Otherwise, yes and yes! :) how about ordering it online for your daughter so that she wouldn't have to lug it around ?

 for the black friday shopping dear. Let me know which one you select for your kitchen. My ever growing black friday shopping is getting way bigger to snag deals in that one teeny tiny week. I am my most happiest version in that week I tell you
