which community college offers software engineering(QA) in northern virginia??

Hi,
I saw ur post and want to ask u if u have joined/ finished any course already like u mentioned? I would also like to take up an online certificate course in Computers,preferably in Software testing/Quality from a community college.I don't have any previous IT background.Will it help me to be eligible for H1b application in future?Pls share any info u have..

 

In order to study in community colleges you don't need GRE (That's only applicable for graduate school in some universities. George Mason U doesn't require GRE in many of their courses). However, you may run into TOEFL request in order to study in the USA (again it might be dependent on the college itself). As per as Community College goes, your best bet might be NVCC aka NOVA. Usually community colleges are county based but NVCC seemed to cover a wide range of counties/areas.

As per certification course in software testing, I'm not aware of any in NVCC. CTFL you can study at home and complete it. Although I would also suggest to look into other certifications as well since the software testing field is over saturated these days (I'm a tester myself and going into cybersecurity).
