    Hi Everyone!

It's wedding season, and I'm trying to get some clothes for my brother. We finally got him onboard for a cream kurta/Nehru jacket combination. I like this look too, since it's very versatile and not too flashy. What is the best way to purchase this without my brother around to try it on? Are there good places in Chennai? online? Also, we are on a budget, because my brother is a GUEST, not the groom. Under Rs 7000, if possible.

I buy kurtas etc quite regularly for my kids at Fabindia (they have quite a few stores in chennai and online too) and their kurtas seem to appeal to DSs the best.

Thanks for the suggestions. Manyavar is bit expensive (online, at least), but we'll surely check out Fabindia or styleone.

Fabindia has a nice collection. Silk as well as cotton and they are worth the money. And the best part is they don't get to the back of the wardrobe because both ds and dh wear them to ocassions like temple and other weddings.

Manyavar, rmkv too have good ones .

I buy everything online. Try Jabong, Myntra, FabIndia and CraftsVilla. You won't go wrong.

PS: I bought an excellent winter Nehru Jacket at the Cottage Emporium. They will have one in Chennai. Even if you don't get what you are looking for, you shall be exposed to excellent, high-quality Indian handlooms and handicrafts. It is an experience in itself. Though as usual, the customer service is terrible.
