    Elza,Manasa,Kashvya,

Thank you so much for the interest shown and sorry for the delay in posting this. Please check the site below:
    GOONJ - a voice, a small effort

On the menu bar on the left, please click on the heading 'Not Just a Piece of Cloth'.
There is a ppp showing everything. Mr Gupta has said that we should all feel free to copy their method, improve on it and distribute it among needy women in our local communities.

Goonj will also pick up material from you, if you prefer it that way.

    God bless all of you!

Moderators- I may be forgiven for posting an external link.

    Dear Vidya,

I happened to see the ppt you mentioned in Goonj website.I was into tears....

I see that this NGO is based out of Delhi.I want to donate old clothes as well as good outfits for this NGO.Will they take it from my home(Chennai)?

Can I contact the person mentioned in the website?

Many thanks in advance for your reply.

    Dear Raji,

I am sorry you were moved to tears, the ppp is disturbing. Please, please contact the persons whose e-mails you see. They will suggest a local office (if they have any) or tell you how to go about this. I see that they don't have a collection centre in Chennai. But you contacting them could be the start of such a space in Chennai.

    Goodluck!

    hugs
    Vidya

After going through details of 'goonj' , really felt bad about their situation ... not able to express my feeling.... sure will keep this in mind and share in my circle..

Thanks all of you for sharing such an important information...How sad to know that a very basic necessity of a woman is not fulfilled !
