    Hello Muscat ladies..
I m looking for badam pisin/almond gum in Muscat. But couldn't get anywhere. Searched in souk and some major hypermarkets but it is not available. How to ask for it?? Is there a place where I can get it??

Hello @Shanvy.. Thank you so much.. I have never been there. Will check out the next time. The shop boy at Barka told us that name 'sumak'. He first gave us some bathing gel when we asked as almond gel. Later I saw it being kept in a sack and pointed it. He then told that its name is sumak. He, himself, didn't know the local term I think. We generally call it as badam pisin, which in english, almond gel/gum.
