Mandapams are available in wood in Victoria Technical Institute , Anna salai . You can try in Poomoukar also. Beautiful peedams in white metal with workmanship are also available in poompukar, North Mada veedhi shops etc.

ladies ...how many of you have tried sweets and snacks in " The Grans Sweets and Snacks" , Adyar, Chennai . it is simply my favourtie shop to buy sweeta and snacks. The quality of their products is always maintianed well. I Guess many of you can try there .

Recently, my father has sent some sweets thro my folks from Adyar Grand sweets and the taste was, yes, as you said, very nice. But, only with athirasam, am not satisfied with the texture, tiny bit hard!!!
