When to have juices while dieting

    Hello friends,

    Help me to get my doubt cleared. My diet chart is as follows,

    6:00 - 500ml water.
    6:30 - methi seeds, low fat milk.
    9:00 - 3 tomatoes(small), 2 carrots, 2 wheat dosa + curry.
    11:00 - milk , 1/4cup nuts, green tea.
    1:30 - 2 cucumber, 1/4 cabbage, 2 wheat dosa + curry, green tea.
    4:00 - Milk, green tea.
    7:00 - 3 idlis / 2 wheat dosa - curry, green tea.


    But recently we got 4 lts of vegetable juices left out in refrigerator. where to have this juice as substitute without affecting diet. Also, many informed that juice after breakfast/ meals will make us gain weight. please help and clear the doubt as soon as possible.

    Hi Tinky,

    Your diet chart sounds good, I want to make some corrections..

    Drink more water abt 2 litres a day,like before and after meals a glass.atleast warmer water.
    Y don´t u change wheatdosa with something else in the afternoon like chapathi´s or small cup of rice or with soya..

    Dont drink tea in the night, may be it makes difficulty in sleeping..

    Instead drinking Milk along with tea at 4,shift that milk to night so that it will good for health as it makes ur stomach ful and also u will get good sleep..

    Coming to the Juices, see the info abt the different contents on the label..If it contains more sugar,I think it´s better to avaoid..U can have juices at the time of breakfast and aslo as a mid day snack...

    HI Tinky,

    I agree with dg, avoid juices if they have a lot of sugar.
    If you really want to comsume it then go for it at 11:00 when you have milk.Replace it with juice.
    And also you can take green tea at breakfast instead of taking it at 11:00.
