when do you go to temple after periods?

hi,
i visit the temple only after the periods have completely stopped .
I feel uncomfortable going even if i have sligfht spotting

 

Yes you should go infront of dieties only after it is completely 'off' and that too after head bath. Moreover it is interesting to read various reasons given in the thread stating y we do so....dats good to read!!!

My grandmother told me to go to temple after 5-7 days after taking head bath.Actually during these days some negative energy flows.Thats why we don't go to Temples.

 

It is a 7 day cycle for me.But i take my oil bath on the 5th day.Generally i prefer to go after it is completely over but if i have to then i go after the 5th day after having taken a headbath again.

I understand that we should avoid going to temples during our cycle i.e 5 days but wat abt the 6th day when we ve very less...?
some are saying that we can visit any godess temple, is that good?
wat about Hanuman temple and snake temple?
