I would like to know abt flax too..

I used to add a spoon ful of falxseed powder to my cereal when I was pregnant. It helped me not to have any constipation :)

BTW, Where can I find wheat germ here in the U.S? In organic stores?

I get wheat germ in Niligiri's stores here, Poonam. Flaxseed oil is a known stool softener for K too. I started with the oil in the second year, when we started noticing symptoms of allergies. I use the flaxseed meal to bake too. If your little one is having cookies or cupcakes you are baking, a tbsp of flaxseed meal may work well.
