What Movie did you Watch Today????????

Watched "Malupu " (Telugu) .....Mystery movie and at the end only we get to know the main villain .....interesting ....

 

Not good?? Hearing many good reviews, I was planning to watch it..

 

BAGHBAN- hindi movie.

 

I did not like it much.... There were some comedy in the beginning... Nothing that I found as ' woow, its new'!!

 

Watched Mani Ratham's - kaatru veliyidai (2017). Very Good.

Karthik has done a fantastic work, fits perfect for the role. Good looking and young heroin. The best camera work, nice scenery, music/songs/lyrics - a picture perfect movie.

As usual, the songs were merged in the background!

Don't miss it in the theater. Beautiful Srinagar, Himalaya region, snow covered mountains, river, dessert - we got everything, but from the south never had a chance to see it!

Ada, namma Karthiya? such a good looking fellow. A lucky guy, he had a chance to work with the best directors in the industry!

 

Watched 'Beauty and the Beast'. Enjoyable.

Kaatru veliyidai misses mani's magic inspite of breathtaking scenic photography and wonderful music.

I wish more thought went into some of the costumes and dialogues . The story timeline talks of 18 yrs back,while the costumes and dialogues are more comtemporary.

There was a wonderful story that could have been handled differently especially potentional was huge..

 

Felt like, some what recycled story? from Roja, alaipayuthey! Why he forces pregnancy/living together culture in his movies.

 

I think we the viewers have a shift in taste. Roja was so fresh to watch, incidentally the first maniratnam movie i watched and through the years, 25 yrs i have seen the way his movies have gone.

Progressive movies does not mean themes of friends with benefits or having a child before marriage. The whole confused treatment leaves you iritated.

I am not rigid tradionalist but somewhere even the industry has a social responsiblity.


Above all i feel that the whole story has not been worked well. The timelines,the dialogues and works dont connect together. The start of the movie felt like it was plucked off a old m&b novel seriously.

And sorry to say but kaarthi acted better in the nagarjuna and karthi movie thozha? Than in this movie. Though uyire was a copy of the intouchables which was a class apart.

 

He is trying to show how modern society is revolutionizing..this percentage in current society is very less..but by seeing movies like this the percentage may go up..
