Churidars are very much in fashion now a days. Short kurti's with matching duptta is also in.

Short kurtis , Patialas ( pants that are pleated) are in fashion now. Then there are salwars (pants) that have intricate emroidery are in vogue. You can buy a common colour are mix and match. There are flared sleeves and cap sleeves doing the rounds now. On the sleeve you can stick chamkis or do a bit of fabric painting, add colurful buttons too.
Not to forget broad bottom pants.

The current trend in shalwars are patialas, ballon shalwars as well as frock like shalwars......

However, churidars are always in fashion ,so are the normal shalwars...they are all time staples and will never go out of fashion....
