hi ILs, currently i am working in a corporate world. i am planning to quit my job to take care of my DD who goes to pre-nursery. i thought instead of whiling away time at home, I was thinking of working for school / play homes as a teacher while she is in school, so that i can earn little. so wanted to know the average pay of a play school teacher and any specific certifications are needed fot the same. thanks in advance!
it deppends on schools. NPS will pay any where between 30-45k for below 5th std teachers. Normal schools will pay any where between 15-20k. Montessori schools will play 10k. I feel teacher is job is more stressful than IT. Think about it. Best of luck. You need to do some basic courses to move into the teacher jobs. If you are in old madras road, try pintos . they were looking for teachers.

It looks easy , but on schools its difficult. Its my personal thinking. -> Need to have lot of patience to answer their Sweet Questions. Every thing start W?. -> Depends on the materials of the school. If they dont have, you need to spend lot of time to think and prepare. Dont think its only ABCD and numbers. I am not scarring you . Its only caution. But, if you like to spend time with Kids, Still you enjoy JoB. If you are in Banashanakri, Try in Kumarans. Easy way to get teacher Job is, Try in the same school where your Kids are going or planning to send it. They will definitly consider it. Try some Nursery trainings before to that. Best of Luck.
