Lion with Dev Patel is on Netflix. It made me cry, a lot, but it was a very beautiful movie. Especially the child actor, Sunny Pawan scenes. He is the most compelling actor on screen.
Bumping this thread. Since last month - got off normal TV and using only the Android TV. Need inputs for interesting stuff to watch. So please share , share!! Watched on NetFlix Dharmashetra - Quite stimulating to watch, all of us at home see discuss and dissect Lust stories (very mixed response from me) Set It UP - love it Cosmos - Pretty intriguing Stranger things- kinda ok Secret Super Star - good
I am watching 'Black Mirror' series - each and every episode is intriguing and I am very hooked into it. Almost done all the episodes eagerly waiting for the new ones.
@SunPa I loved Stranger Things. I love everything that has some twist to it paranormal, super hero stuff and all. Recently I finished: Dare Devil: not bad at all Punisher: Good Hannibal: LOVE it Madds Mikkelson was truly awesome in Hannibal. I loved Anthony Hopkins and his performance in Hannibal when the movie released years ago and now this on Netflix. I loved his technique in kitchen too (not the cannibalistic part though...lol) Currently I am watching Animal Kingdom.
I had been meaning to start this...what is this about? Eveery time i login to Netflix, this is coming up under "most viewed".
Rakhii, this is a Black fantasy drama on how scary a Hi-tech future could be. What attracted me first is this is collection of short stories - no need to watch continuously. My favourite best is "USS Callister". There are many stories in which we can't imagine how far the technology can improve. Video games addiction, using chip implants to protect children, how importance we give to social network statuses etc are one of the few concepts they made a story out of. I would recommend and gladly give five stars..
Mix of Amazon prime / Netflix series Bosch - 5 season The Good Karma Hospital - 2 season Shetland - season 3 and 4 Alice Grace - Season 1 Sort of boring after 2 episodes... The Sinner Harper Island, kind of boring
My favorite show is Marvel's Agents of Shield, and the latest season is up. It's less superhero-y than the movies, I promise. Altered Carbon is worth a watch, if you are able to tune out the gratuitous nudity. Lost in space - kinda corny, but definitely child friendly. A series of Unfortunate events is also surprisingly addictive and good. It's kid friendly (well, older kid friendly). There are scary situations. The kissing booth, for overload of romantic comedy and high school cuteness. Ok, warning, teenagers engaging in risky behavior, so might not be acceptable to all. Hasan Minaj homecoming king - standup comedy that is extremely accurate of 1st gen experience. Sherlock- it's really good Boss baby series- for the child at heart.
