@idonthatemylife- 3rd rock from the sun.The name sound intriguing. How is it so far? Tell us a gist of the show. @Avanti30- Nope, haven't seen it. That will be the next one to watch. Currently watching Once Upon A Time
Hi, It is a 90's US sitcom about 4 aliens who are trying to act as normal humans.Jokes are about how they try to understand earthly things and do stuffs to fit in.
@idonthatemylife- Woot woot!! Really sounds amazing! I am all about sci-fi. I have not yet watched sci-fi/ comedy yet. Looking forward to watching it. @Avanti30- Yes yes thanks for mentioning Very British Problems. I saw it on Netflix and I was wondering whats it about. How good is it?
Hey @blindpup10 , I am on my 3rd episode now. I gathered that it is about behavioural styles, or problems British people face or encounter, British attitude or habits that are very British. Like in one of the episode, a man said that he said that when leaving, he said bye to his relatives at their home first then again bye when they came to see them off at parking, and when he actually started car his folks rolled down the window, said bye again. So he was just narrating all these funny anecdotes. Like these, you will get to know number of small anecdotes that are sometimes awkward, funny, don't know what to do types
@Avanti30-OMG! I had assumed saying multiple bye's is very common in India. Now I know where the root cause is.. Now this gives me an idea of starting a new thread- Very Indian Problems How many times is the right amount of time to be asked by the host to eat the sweets? Host- Please have the sweets. Guest- (to himself) OMG! the laddu looks so delicious, Let the host ask me one more time. I will gobble it up. Hmm with a smile Host- I will bring some watr.. please take the sweets... Guest- Yes, Sure. I will have some water. OMG! please ask me to eat the sweets one more time (to himself) Host- Haiii, why haven't you eaten the sweet. Please take it. Guest- (to himself) YES! YES! He said it!!!- Thanks so much for offering the sweets. I love laddus.
@blindpup10, Good Idea. Please do start this thread Very Indian Problems I am sure we all have tons of anecdotes to share
Hi, The irony is that its not a sci-fi show. On another note if you are interested in watching British programs, i highly recommend "Outnumbered".
