Kite Runner and Thousand Splendid Sons are great reads.. not depressing but extremely moving.
Currently reading " The Queens Fool" by Phillipa Gregory .. not that interesting read like the "The other Boleyn Girl" or " The Boleyn Inheritance". The story line is based on the Tudors ( Henry 8th, his wives and daughters Elizabeth & Mary).
My favorite new find is the "No 1 Ladies Detective" series.

    Hi,

I am currently reading "A gift of Wings" by Richard Bach - yet to warm up to the book and am sure won't be disappointed. I have loved his earlier books, my most favorites being, Jonathan Livingston Seagull and Illusions.

    Sindhu,

I am big fan of Paulo Coehlo and have read more or less all his books except "The piligrimage". My local library doesn't have it and I intend to buy it soon!

    Sujatha,

I will try to get my hands on Unaccustomed Earth and post a review after I am done. Thanks for suggesting, I have enjoyed Jhumpa Lahiri's books too and hadn't checked in the recent past.

    Happy Reading everyone.

    Hi Srama:

Which is your favourite P Coelho book? I read The Alchemist and got hooked onto Coelho's books. I'm just wondering which book I should read next. Yes, I thought Pilgrimage would be interesting but haven't good hold of it.

    Hi Sindhu,

Ofcourse I agree with you about "The Alchemist" - nothing to beat the book. Then my favorites are "The Zahir" and "Eleven Minutes" (this book has mixed reviews) in that order. Hope you will enjoy them too.

Hmm... I can understand about 'Eleven minutes' having mixed reviews. But I loved the way Coelho writes about achieving what you want in life. Hope I can find 'Zahir'. Thanks!
