Similar stories by Robin cook would equally excite you I believe.
Medi al thriller todate the best seems to be ARTHUR HALEY'S - FINAL Diagnosis. How a nurse emerge triumphant after encountering all odds. A must read for griping tale.
    Thanks and regards.

I am reading ASURA: TALE OF THE VANQUISHED, novel by Anand Neelakantan. Ramayana is written through the perspective of Ravana (instead of Rama). Interesting so far....

    i just read: Chandrakanta :)
i guess those from north india will recall their childhood in 90 s: DoorDarshan on sunday: chnadrakanta ki kahani ye mana hai purani.. purani.....naugadh ka tho rajkumar chandrakanta se karta tha pyar...:blush::blush:

well , after reading hundreds of books in english for the last 15 or more years, i decided to read something in my mother tongue , so i started with chandragupt: a play by jai shankar prasad
    & now chandrakanta.
a fantasy adventure, a world of tilism, aiyaars , treasures to be found, wars to be won.
a delightful & thrilling read, a page turner, i read in hindi after long time and was so so so nostalgic.
the book differs from the famous television series in many aspects.
my favorite character: Tej singh & Chapla: both in supporting roles to the hero & heroine, but they are the ones who actually do all the work. even in trying times, they dont lose their cool and are able to find a way out, they do fail at times, and face setbacks, but their attitudes of not leaving a stone unturned to achieve their objective actually endears them.
