hi, we were in delhi last month. we went to a mall in vasant kunj. it was quiet good. if you want to do some budget shopping, then sarojini market is quiet good. i got some really nice bags from there. i have heard that lajpath nagar is good for buying quality stuff. if you want to buy expensive designer stuff, then hauz khas would be a right place for it. if you want to see some historical places and monuments then, india gate, kutubminar, gandhiji's samadhi, museum of indira gandhi, lotus temple. do visit the iskcon temple there, it is the largest in the world, and you get very good prasad there too. and even connought place is good. if you are a foodie, nirulas serves the best fast food.
Dear OP, please mention what "famous things" you want to know? In terms of sightseeing? Shopping? Art& culture?
Apart from all these suggestions..if u want to get nice n chick dresses and other upto fashion cloths..gk2 is d place..they seem to have copied all big brands like mango and zara..lol For cosmatics karol bag is full of stores..u get awsome collection of everything u can imagine related to cosmetics..and they hav loy of other stuff too, like nice watches and bags. For eating out..delhi is full of it...i keep roaming with ma frirnds and my brother day and night..ha ha..we love eatting..from maggi n awsome paranthas, bun maska at different "dhabas" in early morning hours to the beaitifull cafè's amd pubs till late night..every varity you can find here.. Rest people have already mentioned a lot.. Sory for writing so much...and enjoy delhi whenever you r here.. Love...p
