    Dear Chitvish Mam,
I am very glad to post here. :)
I tried Strawberry Ice cream for the first time. I followed the procedure of Icecream base 2 without GMC. It came out so well. My DH loved it. Its so soft and creamy. Never thought homemade ice creams would be so soft and easy to do.I am so excited in trying the Ice cream myself.
I have attached the photo. Sorry about its decoration. Thought of sharing my joy with you. Thank you so much for the easy procedure and SBS photos. It was very helpful.
    Thanks. Bye.

That is a good FB, SB!!:thumbsup
I always use only toned milk.Infact if we get double toned milk, we can even call it diet ice cream, provided we do not add cream too!:thumbsup

Please aoid madam & feel free to call me C.

    Dear Aunty,
The recipes for the tikkis in the Chaat section look very tempting. My question is whether the tikkis can be baked, instead of shallow fried.

Do try it, Raji. But even in shallow frying I added very little oil!!
Make sure, with no oil, it does not choke your throat!!:hide:

    Dear Madam,

So tempting is your easy cheese roll, i think i have to make extra phulkas to have some left overs. one doubt while rolling is the initial spread alone enough for the roll to stick and hold, will it not open once we put it in the tava and the centre filling come out.

May be i should try out and then ask the question. sorry if i am wrong

    thanks

SB, just buy a small phulka pack of 8 available in Nilgiris & try it. No, it will not open out because the spread is appplied. First put the folded side down.
    It comes out well!

    Hi Mami,
Wonderful cheese burgers. I am so tempted to try it asap. Just 2 questions...
    1. Red chilli sauce - Don't have it ready made. So can I soak some red chillies and grind them?
    2.Mayonnaise - Don't have it at home.Will curd be a substitute?

Instead of cjilli sauce, use a dash of chilli powder, a pinc of sugar mixed in a tsp of vinegar. I use the Maggi's Hot & sweet.
Yes, use hung curds. It should be thick.
