We are in the same boat
11 July: trying to get back to my diet. Some guest came in the evening and had calorie laden Chinese food. But tried portion control.
Not much change in scales. But best part i am on not run away.
I accept now that cheats, unplanned eating, etc will be their only important is getting back on track as ASAP.
Can we connect through whatsapp? suggestion...

Dont think of any meals as cheat. Main is to adjust your calories. You can do it definitely.
And never check weight esp after you have eaten lot of calorie rich diet.
Check weight once in 10 or 15days only
Thanks for the positive words. I had a miscarriage at 20weeks 2yrs back. I too conceievd naturally and that time my weight was 100+ kgs.
It put me in depression for a long time. After that I am scared to get pregnant again as I cant bear another loss.
But I yearn for motherhood.
Doctors adviced me to lose weight atleast to be around 70kgs and then try to conceive.
Hoping to lose weight and soon God bless me with my baby.
Agree to everything that @PurpleRoses said. Will only add meditation and positive thinking to this. Two of my friends suggested this to me for conceiving and my reaction was “whaaaaat”. But I did give it a try. And i agree positive thinking and being stress free goes a long way and apparently helps in both weight loss and conceiving. I am giving both a try. Hence suggesting.
I agree too. After a long break this is why I have taken up things seriously and want to be healthy both physically n mentally positive to conceive.
I am currently 94 kg. My target weight : 72 Kg. Hope to achieve by New year.
Today exercised for 10 mins so far.
Welcome to the clan. My target is similar n weight too. Try to increase your workout time.
Are u married/kids? Working?
If u are busy with kids/working then also take out 1hr daily atleast 5 days a week to workout.
If no gym, play youtube videos on your laptop or tv and workout at home.
Aerobics/zumba/walking/yoga choose whatever you like and play it on youtube.
Personally, I used to take stairs up and down continuously for 20mins ...it makes a great mini workout too.
Or do skipping for 100counts. Start with 50 and i crease as per your capacity.
Diet is 80% and exercise 20%.
Eat atleast 2 to 3 veggies daily and 2 to 3 fruit servings.
