weightloss friends group 2015

    Dear Melon123, I am really in need to reduce my weight. Every time i try to do it but i am quite foodie, so unable to have control on food. But i am not big fan of coffee/Tea..
    My Height is 5feet and weight is 56.5, looking out to reduce to 50. As i am having irregular periods,infertility and PCOD, i am unable to conceive also had abortions twice. Along with these my tummy and thy's are so much so that i am unable to wear modern dresses, i always rely on wearng chudi/saree. So please help me get motivated to reduce my weight.

    Melon,

    Good to see this thread..

    My short term goal is to reduce before my vacation.
    Current weight (today): 75.5
    Goal weight 24th Jan (72.5)
    I had lost weight in the mid of this year, to 72, at this time family back home have seen pictures and all of them are raving how much weight I have lost. It will be embarassing to face them when I have gained back almost everything I have lost. Although this is superficial it does make a difference. Even otherwise I am keen to get more fit.

    My steps:
    1. 30 mins exercise a day
    2. Portion Control
    3. One soup/salad meal a day
    4. No outside dinner

    The first 2 on the list are my most important things.

    My first priority is also the same, to do 20 to 30 min exercises every day, to make a weekly target of 150 to 200 minutes (never to fall less than 150 min per week, if I consider two days of a week, to go without exercises).

    Today (29.12.14) :

    20 min walk, 1.3 miles

    All the best for you. May I know what is portion control??

    Am also trying for weight loss. I am more curious to know, please dont mistake me, if I follow the 4 points will I be able to reduce around 3 kgs before jan 24??

    Hi Melon,

    I became very happy when i read your first few posts. 2014 was not a successful year in terms of weight loss. But 2015, i will try to have a healthy lifestyle. Can i also join the thread ?
    Current weight: 73.1 Kg
    Target weight: (by March ) : 68 Kg.
    Walking/Elliptical for 45 min (5 days a week)
    Portion control
    Drink plenty of water
    Cut down coffee/tea
    Avoid outside food
