    Food log:
    -------------
    7.30am: Coffee
    11.30am: Pongal with sambar and 1 cup yogurt
    4pm: coffee
    Dinner: need to plan being friday will go heavy on family demand I guess :thinking:

    Exercise: will take break today, and will be hitting body pump class tomorrow first thing in the morning

    Need strength to get thru the weekend :confundio1:

    Jan 6 SW: 59.5 kgs
    Jan 10 CW: 58.5 kgs

    Are you guys doing Keto or Low Carb? Most of the names I heard is Dal, Chapati, Ragi dosa, Oats. If I am sure they are not keto foods.

    I just like to share Dr. Eric Berg kept a 30 Day Keto Challenge with a Meal Plan people out of India it may helpful for you check this video.

    I checked with my mom, she says she keep it outside for 6h seems before keeping it inside refrigerator .. should I leave it outside for more hours??

    Breakfast - 2 organic boiled eggs, 1 plain omelette (made out of 1 egg)
    Morng snack - 1 Welch’s fruit snacks (gluten free - calories 70) , overnight soaked almonds & walnuts
    Lunch - 1/2 bowl lemon rice made out of hand pound rice with cabbage & home yogurt (need to buy Greek yogurt)
    Eve - tea with Marie & britania milk biscuit (this is my 1st tea for this week)
    Dinner - 3 small ragi dosa with tomato chutney
    Grapes - few

    Ex:
    Walking while shopping that’s it kind of rest day for me!!! Getting ready for tomorrow’s heavy Zumba class

    Few Questions ladies:
    1. While on keto or any diet, are you not constipated?
    2. My body is prone for constipation easily and I need to consume fruits like orange, banana :)nono: more carbs) or papaya or grapes, more fibers everyday!!!! Please suggest some healthy alternatives to avoid constipation problems... Is papaya good at dinner time??? One of my friend suggested flax seed powder mixed into my ragi batter to reduce constipation!!!
    3. Any suggestions on low carbs biscuits during tea time????? :smash2:A very happy weekend ladies, enjoy but please watch out your diet :ciao:

    Eve - tea with biscuits
    Dinner - 3 small dosa with tomato curry & little Hakka noodles (weekend :smash2:)
    1 bowl papaya & grapes

    Ex:
    Zumba class - 60 mins
    Steps: 13,083
    Distance: 7.1 miles

    Lunch: night shade greens(manathakali keerai), banana stem poriyal and cabbage poriyal
    Dinner: same as lunch plus add one avacado

    Hello All!
    I want to start Keto / low carb diet too. I gained 11 kgs during pregnancy and the weight is sticking around since then.
    Could someone please suggest good fitness app(s) that would help me to monitor (1) the calories along with the break up of food groups (carbs/proteins,etc) and (2) calories burnt during exercise.

    Also, I have a mechanical scale at home. Do I need a digital bathroom scale? Asking because, digital scale will definitely help me monitor weight changes real time but I was told that a mechanical scale reduces the "attachment" and resultant "panic"associated with big and small weight changes! :tonguewink:

    Hey Anitha, just curious... since you were on a weight loss journey before, in 2012, could you please tell me what would be my expected/ estimated duration of weight loss for 11 kgs? I am between 40 and 41 years old. Thanks in advance. :)
