Weight Loss Buddies from 2012

    CV Mom,
    I bought 1 pair for workouts, 1 pair for indoor use, 1 pair of nice sandals all suitable for my foot conditions...It took nearly 3 hrs for me to figure out the right pair as per the doctor's recommendation. thanks to the sales girl in the store who worked patiently to help me.
    My hubby is little upset with me about the figures I end up with the shoe purchase.
    I have no choice but to buy for me. It was way out of budget, but it is must now for my case...
    Why all the products in health stores are so costly?
    In way, I was indirectly rewarding my foot with comfort shoes, which I deserve...
    Thanks CV Mom for the support all the way through.

    No time for dress shopping and also I know I cant ask for any more dresses this month...but sooner...

    Dearest Sri,

    i am so happy for you. Your feet are very important. Even t hough it is expensive now, you will save a lot of headache and money by avoiding foot problems and doctors. Dresses can wait dear.

    Sri..a good shoe and a good sports bra..these 2 things are so important for any woman who works out regularly...I'm glad you got a good pair...you feet will thank you in the long run...don't worry about the price...we always have to a little extra for the quality but it's worth it :)

    didn't do anything yesterday

    28th July: 31 mins treadmill [2 miles]

    waiting for my appointment with my surgeon this Friday...hoping that he allows me to run...really want to run...walking is not much fun for me!

    Food - as usual
    junk - popcorn ( without salt or butter), 1 veggie burger, onion rings (shared) & little ice cream (1-2 sips)

    workout
    1-2 hr walk inside zoo

    July 27

    food - as usual
    junk - nil :)
    workout - 60 mins normal walk

    July 28

    Food:
    Breakfast - 1 honey wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita (without sugar) & 1.5 glass smoothie (1 banana, 1 apple, few blueberries & few strawberries)
    Lunch - roti, brown rice, curry, tindora, 1 boiled egg & yogurt
    Snack - cucumber
    Dinner - roti, 1 idly & 1 cup bournvita (no sugar)


    Workout:
    Climbing stairs at home
    Floor ex - Arm workout with and without dumbbells (3 lbs), squats, lunges
    Tread mill - Distance: 2.55 miles Calories burnt: 254 Time - 46 mins
    Elliptical - Distance: 0.75 Calories burnt: 75


    My shoulders are sore after arm workouts. Also, my body was so lazy to do squats n lunges today.

    Hi Anitha! I'm good..how are u doing? how's the little one?

    I do not have any goal Anitha..I am not aiming to lose any weight...just trying to lead a healthy life by eating balanced meals and working out regularly..I only post my workouts..it keeps me motivated...

    Food: Normal
    Junk - nil :p

    Breakfast - 1 honey wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita (without sugar) & 2 big glass of smoothie
    (1 banana, 1 apple, few blueberries & few strawberries)
    Lunch - roti, brown rice, soya curry, carrot, 1 boiled egg & yogurt
    Snack - cucumber
    Dinner - 3 roti prepared with little oil & 1 cup bournvita (1/4 tsp sugar)

    Workout:
    Climbing stairs at home
    Floor ex - nil (my thighs are super sore after squats :eek)
    Tread mill - Calories burnt: 250 Time - 40 mins
    Elliptical - Calories burnt: 50

    I'm doing great and busy. Both of my kids are doing great too !
    That's great to share your workout schedule. Anyways, i'm posting my food log and workout routine daily to track my regularity..
