    Dear Ladies,
    how are you? i went to the gym on monday and tuesday last week, then fell sick due to weather change in Nairobi we are in our winter so the cold is to the extreme, i have been indoors since thursday and the medication given was heavy so was feeling weak as well. From Thursday will start going to the gym.

    July 22 :

    Food:
    Breakfast - 1 wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita, 1 glass smoothie (1 apple, 1 banana, few blueberries, few strawberries)
    Lunch - Roti, brown rice, curry, beetroot, 1 egg, 2 cucumber & yogurt
    Snack - murukku n sweets (from India)
    Dinner - Roti

    Workout:
    Climbing stairs at home
    Treadmill - 30 mins
    Floor ex - 30 mins

    hello guys! I'm back!

    Will start my routine soon...gained 3 kgs in total which I don't mind...but I need to reduce the fat that I gained...need to tone up...I literally ate some or the other dessert everyday for last 2 months...also fried things, tikki, chaat what not so I guess 3 kg gain is less compared to how much I ate :biglaugh

    Alpa: good to hear from u! hope you're feeling better now...

    Anitha: you are doing great!

    July 24 :

    Food:
    Breakfast - 1 wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita (without sugar), 1 glass smoothie (1 apple, 1 banana, few blueberries, few strawberries)

    Lunch - 2 or 3 small chapati's (prepared with few drops of oil), brown rice (replacement for white rice) , some curry, 1 vegetable daily, 1 egg (daily) & yogurt

    Snack - 1.5 Sweet potato

    Dinner - 4 small chapatis with rajma curry &
    1/2 glass milk with viva (no sugar) & 1/2 glass milk with pepper (caught up with sore throat)

    Total sugar in take - sugar content from viva & bournvita

    Junk - nil :clap

    Wt update:
    June 30 - 155.8 lbs
    July 24 - 152.8 lbs
    Last month, I lost 4.6 lbs but this month don't think I can lose that much but 3 lbs a MUST !!


    Workout:
    Climbing stairs at home

    Tread mill:
    Distance - 3.29 miles
    Calories burnt - 340
    Time - 60 mins

    Elliptical
    22 mins
    burnt 100 calories.

    Total calories burnt today - 440 calories :banana
    Total miles - 3.5

    I did a good workout today after a gap.

    How are you dear?
    Are you back from India? I bet you must have enjoyed much.
    I saw you in the baking section already?
    And no Junk/sweets thread?
    That is Manali...
    I admire your baking hobby dear...I cook really good with traditional south Indian,North Indian, chinese , Italian dishes... but not baking!
    I tried many times from the scratch... all times... flop!
    I dont want to waste my time and food items any more...If I wish to or kids ask for some cakes, go to safeway stores...get it or click on the virtual feast and drool...

    I am going like same Manali...No major changes...
    How is your health nowadays?

    burnt 130 calories.

    Sri...so good to hear from you! hugsmileyyes back from India..I'm doing well..health is better now...few tests remaining..but overall doing much better!

    haha Sri..I'm funny naa..I post about baking n stuff and then I also post in the no junk/sweet challenge :biglaughmy love affair with baking is for life! I baked a lot in India too..I was very happy as i was able to bake so much for my friends and family..it made me super happy :) :) India was so much fun..even though it was super hot...

    I'm sure you can bake very well too Sri..few more trials and you will be good..but it's ok if you don't want to waste your time..I am sure you are an expert cook otherwise...

    I will kick start my routine soon...still little jet lagged...

    Saturday 'Tea Kadai' Bench started...playing 'tea shop' songs at home with loud speaker after so many weeks...
    Try it out...Slowly entire family comes along to dance too...

    I am cooking :
    Menu:
    pine apple rasam, mint thogaiyal,paruppu usili.
    saturday special.
    Also hubby told we can go for shoe shopping for me.
    I will add some dresses too...dont tell him now...
    It has been a while we went to mall!
    I am already jumping for my window shopping too!
