    Iam in for this forum my new year resolutions are :-
    1. Wake up at 5:30am
    2. Lose 12 kgs by April and my DH is 5kgs to reach the ideal weight
    3. Make profit in my boutique business to fund my charity school in india.

    Dear Ruby & all,

    Count me in ! Good that you opened a new thread. I want to lose 12 - 14 Kgs and Im joining the baton! :)

    My diet plan
    Morning - 6.40 am - Methi seeds soaked previous night along with my Thyroid pill (I have hypothyroidism)
    7.15 am - 100 ml of Tea with milk and sugar
    7.45 am - Oats/Dalia Dosa / Wheat bread/Dosa or idly - (2 in numbers)
    10.30 am- A cup of coffee or milk/tea with quarter tsp of sugar ( This is a must as I feel very tired after my two hour journey to office)
    12:45 - A cup of Dalia khichdi with moong dal, lots of veggies, Curd and a salad
    4 pm - a cup of tea with quarter tsp of sugar
    8pm - Veggie Soup and buttermilk
    8.30 pm - My doctor prescribed multivitamin and Calcium tablet

    Exercise - This is a big problem as my son gets up along with me and doesnt allow me to exercise. Somehow trying to include atleast 20 mins of fast walking per day

    Keep sipping lukewarm water whenever I feel thirsty. One Sidha doctor told me sipping warm water definitely burns the cholestrol from the body.

    To highlight the changes I have done I have skipped whiterice completely. And stay away from fries and sweets.

    I feel very tired always. But what to do? Im so disappointed after trying so much and still unable to lose weight. So for one month Ill be strict on this plan and see how it works out.
    Please help me with your inputs on my plan.

    i need to loose 30+ kgs for my ideal weight..
    Had been so lazy and had multiple health problems.. Thankfully out of all that now and just started loosing weight..
    Taken up 2 new year resolutions..
    waking up early and loosing weight..

    2012 Resolution for me and the focus is on good health.

    Early rise to start day with Yoga.
    Reduce my tummy
    Eat good food, Be healthly and stay happy.
    Stress and tension free.
    Are there are any tips you can recommend for the above- how to cope up all?

    Dalia Dosa
    Just sharing how I made today. Dalia or Cracked wheat is very good in weight management due to its high fibre content
    Cracked wheat - 1 cup
    Toor Dal - 1/2 cup
    Green gram dal powder - 2 table spoons
    Ginger - 1 piece
    Dry chillies - 2
    Ural dal - for seasoning
    Idly batter - 2 spoons (Optional

    I soaked the cracked wheat and toor dal overnight. In the morning blended it in mixie along with sliced ginger. Added salt and green gram flour. Also added 2 table spoons of Idly batter for consistency( If you want u can skip idly batter)
    Then seasoned the ground batter with 1/4 spoon of oil friend mustard, urad dal and red chillies

    Make like our normal dosas on non stick dosa tava. I had it with mint chutney...Yummy :)

    P.S Thanks to Sabari. I have stolen a lot of points from her Oats dosa recipe :)

    count me also
    i want to loose 13 kgs this year or 1.5 -2 kg every month
    i am 5'0" height and weight 63 kg
    in my case i loose early and gain also very early i want to shed parmanently
    as i read many have already lost kgs so please share their eating pattern
    exerise routine and tips

    Hey I desperately need help and encouragement from all of you. I was a huge 123 kgs. two years ago and am now fluctuating between 97 and 99. Need to lose another 20 kgs definitely this year since I am suffering from weight related problems.

    Count me in. I want to lose 10 kg. please suggest me some exercises, as i c't join the gym. Especially i want to reduce my tummy and butt.
