Watch out our Health---Belly fat to be reduced.

    My Dear friends,

    As every one is at present health concious and it is neccessary to watch out our belly fat.

    For women the belly size to be maintained at below 35 inches and for men below 40 inches.

    Reasons for increased belly size is stress, excess intake of high fat and high sugar in our diets.

    Stress can be restricted by meditations, yoga etc.,

    Cauese for stress is when our bodies secrete harmone called " Cortisol " It stimulates the production of fat contents in deep abdomen.

    60 - 70 gms of protein a day is sufficient for our healthy muscles and bones.

    This can be our diet with peanuts, avocada, nuts & cereals, boiled beans, dal.

    Eating without proteins is bad for health.

    Fast foods in fact adds more collestral.

    Eat fibre foods like bread, fruits, vegetables & whole grains.

    Our goal is to minimize belly fat, we need to be selective about which foods we eliminate.

    Protein is necessary to increase fat burning and ward off muscle loss.

    Plan out in such a way to cut the belly size....

    dear subbu,
    very true when u include protein then ur belly fat comes down, but i have a doubt here, why do men suddenly increase belly after marriage or an affair, i add affair here because all give the blame to wife's cooking after marriage any answer subbu sir....

    True, we've to watch against fat or high calorie foods & sedentary life style to prevent belly fat.

    I feel these are some really good tips,
    Something I would highly recommend is Walking.
    You need to walk every day for 30–45 mins. Walk as in brisk walk, preferably in the morning. while doing so make sure you have a good diet as well. Try not to go for deals like reducing "x" kgs in 30 days. Instead get your BMI tested and make a good schedule that you can stick to.
    Apart from walking, take few other steps like:
    1. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator (at least 3–4 flights of stairs you can climb up every day)
    2. Go for a stroll when you talk on your cell phone (make sure you aren't doing this on busy road though )
    3. Have at least 1.5–2 hours of gap between your dinner and bedtime. I feel this is very essential!
    4. Fix your bedtime and breakfast/lunch/dinner time. Your body loves routine.
