Walk In The Fall Weather

    Feeling the fresh cold air
    blowing the hair off my face
    carrying the falling leaves
    gently to the ground
    The large orange leafy tree
    Standing tall and beautiful
    with the blue backdrop - Gently
    swaying in the blowing wind
    Running stream nearby
    carrying the flame colored leaves
    walking in the narrow walkway
    leading up to the train tracks

    The flashing red lights
    At the railroad crossing turn on
    While I wait for the train to cross
    Swiftly blowing air carries away
    The blaring sound of the train whistle
    As the train rushes by
    Leaving the railroad empty and
    silence persists...

    Gently reminds me of the times
    When we spent hours talking and walking...
    I walk slowly with every step
    sending cramps from toe to my hip
    Not wanting to miss
    this beautiful Fall weather
    Neither I want to miss
    Recollecting the wonderful times...
    Though today I missed talking to you
    Soon will share all these lovely
    Fall Moments with you!

    Lakshmi, I would say that you have 'fallen' in love with 'Fall' very deeply ! Be it poetic captures through lens or earnest feelings through your lines that takes the reader too down the memory lanes, it is beautiful.

    Enjoy your walk but make sure you do not over exert yourself physically.

    Beautiful one on fall, especially who walk everyday outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. Yeah, almost leaves are falling....hmmm
