HI All - I am here for a recommendation.

Has anyone used Vitamix for Idli-dosa batter? How has it turned out? Do the Idlis and dosas come out good?

    OR

would you recommend bringing Sumeet Mixie from India?

Any other recommendations apart from the above two Welcome!!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I have not used Vitamix..but some of my friends told that blenders cannot grind dals like Urad dal to a fine paste..Usually you have to get a fine paste of Urad dal for idli or dosa..So it is better to use a Indian grinder for Indian tiffins..I have been using Preethi mixie..its good..
