Vishnu - Today is Vaikunta Ekadashi.

Dear Chitra mam,

Saw this thread today only. I was searching whether any thread on ekadasi was posted already, so bumped into this. I have a small doubt.

You have mentiond that Vishnu has conch on his lower right arm and lotus on upper left arm. But , if I remember on idols (including tirumala balaji) and photos, he has conch on upper left arm , discuss on upper right arm and of course lower right arm varies from diety to diety. In tirumala balaji it is varada hasta pose. But conch , discuss and mace remains the same in almost all idols ( including guruvayoor temple diety )- viz left upper arm , right upper arm and left lower arm respectively. Pl correct me if I am wrong.
