    Hi,
    Ours was a love & ( partly ) arranged marriage.. But ironically v never celebrated Valentines day (i dont know y) . First Valentines day after marriage v were not together.. i was struggling to get my passport , n he was in canada.. Finally this year We r together n i saw this thread ideasmileyn thought why not give it a try, celebrate this year. I planned to make a scarf ( i m a Beginner Knitter) n bake cookies (My DH loved it wen i tried baking for the first time) and make Chicken briyani for lunch.Two days the special day My DH got sick.. I didnt wanna tempt him so i didnt make cookies.. i didnt get time to finish the scarf too.. Ended up making Rasam n Peper Chicken ..My dear DH who went to get his new Glasses came home with a cake it was very sweet of him..

    At last he is fine now n i have finished my scarf.. Will give him this evening .

    It is so lovely to see more replies coming in to this thread. Thanks IL again!!

    February is the month if love...so its great to see everybody's special Valentine day.

    My dh is not recovered fully yet...but he is still relishing the chocolate cake everyday and each day is a Valentines day for him still!!! The greeting card is still very much on our dressing table and I am so much in love with him.

    All I can say to him is ..."each day with you is a Valentines Day for me!!!"

    RKG dear your presentation about Valentine's day is superb. All the best to your dh to recover fast. Right every day is Valentine's day for those who truly love each other and cant do without each other.
