Unhappy With Husbands Behavior

OP, Your husband and IL's are entitled spoilt brats . Really your husband must be sensible one in front of adolescent parents. Instead he went ahead and went pally with them. Your sister , her husband and their daughter are important in this function. Not your husband your in laws or anybody else. What were they thinking, just becoz you are in US, your in laws thought their darling son and them will get grand treatment. All of them in your in laws act like toddlers and you and your parents are enabling such behavior. This will come back to bite you and your parents in long run. Your parents passively and not so much. But you will take the direct hit. This may just be the eye opener you needed.

Neglect your in laws and hubby outbursts regarding serious matters. Asking about property in such situation is rather rude and uncalled for . Your in laws acted childish with hubby. Not to mention they were jealous of your parents having function and stirred the pot.

whatever happens , you shud insist your parents write your inheritance in only your name . Never ever come into talks by I need money, my parents need money, we are in distress.If such functions come up again at parents, neglect hubby and IL's ourbursts.Your in laws and hubby need time outs from time to time. You should be calm and not think too much into it. Not taking pictures, sulking will not solve your problem. In your case, it gave your ILs an opportunity to bad mouth and scold you. Anyway, their only job is to make DIL's life as miserable as possible. You should not give into such antics.

 

Feels like he is trying to manipulate you, being strict with parents for property and also flirting with you....don't give in to such flirtations...
