Unexpected Visitors And Snacks For Them

    Thank you all for your suggestions.
    I am okay with tea or coffee, till now visitors i have had never prefer tea or coffee.
    I don't have soft drinks at home, I don't drink it, and my DH takes it with out any control so stopped buying it long ago, and would not like to keep it now. I like @Sweety82 fruit squash squash idea.
    I always have nuts, dry fruits and fresh fruits at home. Some time i have Banana bread loaf or muffins (home), again my friends don't prefer it.
    I like @ashneys said i will try to keep chips, salsa and Garlic bread ingredients.

    I have a separate box in my pantry which has snacks reserved for guests only . I make sure I hide it from my kids and DH. I keep different flavours of cookies , namkeen, MTR vada mix or bhel mix . I love offering assorted cookies of different styles and flavours and they look good to present . Sometimes , I quickly microwave potatoes and chop onions and either offer bhel mix pohas or onion pakoras with chai. They are always a hit and can be done in a jiffy!
