Dear All, I am an ardent lover of animals. I have just moved to coimbatore and I do not stay in the city. It is more on the outskirts. I have been coming across lot of cruelty to animals here. There are a lot of cows which come grazing outside. These cows have their legs tied to their noses. The have to walk around with their head bents and go grazing everywhere like this. I see donkeys with both their front legs tied together. They can only hop. Since we stay on the highway recently a lorry knocked down 2 donkeys. I feel this was because they could not run away from the lorry. I questioned the cow herd one day and he said he ties them up this way to avoid them from running away. You cannot reason with these people too. I am a silent spectator though i hate to be like this. Regards Uma :drowning

how horrible.. should be reported and the cowherd and donkey owners have to be educated.. I'm sure they too don't want their animals to be miserable... hope the link by custard helped K
