    Hi all, I am a new member of IL. I am married and have two daughters and currently we are living in west Europe. We originally come from North eastern India. We recently got our canadian PR and will be landing in Toronto some time soon. As my husband works here in Europe, we will only stay in Toronto for few days for now just to activate our PR and will make the final move later. I have a question-Can anyone tell me how long will it take to get the PR card and to complete the necessary immigration formalities? We intend to stay in Toronto for five to six days. Your help in this regard will be highly appreciated. Thanks!:cheers

    I am in Toronto. My name is thamayanthi. Basically i am from coimbatore.

    You can try the Flea Market at VP and Eglinton....thr r also a couple of shops on Middlefield and FInch (near Embassy Groceries) selling idols and other puja stuff...I shopped in these places for Navrathiri last year...Hope this helps! Btw, I'm from Chennai currently living in Vaughan.

    Yes, this was my first experience of the full winter season. I had never experienced nor knew what winter could be, except that in winter in India (Mumbai) temperature fell to 10/12 degrees. Man, winter could kill you and you realise that after coming to canada.
