    Madam Srama,Wonderful write up as ever from you explaining the season and mood swings in your own inimitable way.We in India, especially in Chennai,do have only hot, hotter and hottest season through the year ,though it is somewhat warm in Dec-Jan.
    We are also sad about many things , not,Season Affecting Disorder.Melatonin, saratonin levels etc are of academic interest only to us.It was a nice experience to have the mood swings, day light saving etc during our frequent visits to US.Each nation offers certain things to experience.India too offers,whether it is for good or bad, depending on individual perception.
    Thanks a lot for the writeup making us smile with delight.

    It was a lovely Christmas blog and you captured the winter beauty to the "T".

    Our Christmas was perfect with cold windy weather and overcast skies,hot chocolate, warm aromatic candles, and the bright lights of the Christmas tree.

    @Srama i enjoyed every bit of the whole timeline.. the want to have a snow day to the flurries of snow. only you can deliver the subtle message of enjoying the now.

    Typing from my phone, I did not realize that I had missed a couple of feed backs. My apologies. I agree with you - India has plenty to offer too. Staying away from home makes us look for things in particular and just that when we find it, we feel like we should treasure the moment. Like your frequent US trips, we do make frequent India trips and get to cherish what India offers as well.

    Thank you for your sweet words. I appreciate it. As you might have heard now, we are freezing, though not snowed in like some parts of US fortunately! A Happy New Year to you and your family!

    Thank you my friend for your wishes. Thank fully, the snow is not too much where I live but the temps are awful. So we are all indoors, enjoying the holidays eating food and chatting away.

    Like I mentioned to JS ma'm, I was typing from my phone and missed your feedback as well. I am so sorry! Later when I realized you had responded too, it brought a wide smile on my face.
