    Hey sunny @Sunburst have a happy and a safe journey....

    Pyaari @Naari..... initially i used to like ed sheeran’s shape of you.... now am done with it... especially after listening to the fusion versions:grinning:

    Dd still enjoys the song....
    I was never a concert going kinda person.... somehow it didnt interest me...:anguished:

    Next week is a long weekend for us, with the weather so awesome, hopefully we should go somewhere

    Do you love tava sabzi that we used to cherish in Indian weddings ? There is a distinct flavour and crispness to the Veggies. Cast iron you can use for making any sabzi as long as nothing acidic is added. So no tomato or lemon juice . For regular use I still prefer stainless steel just because you could just throw them in the dishwasher but on weekends or special occasions I use it for gobhi , bhindi, eggplants, Karela , paneer Tikkas (the one with skewers) and greens like sarson ka saag,spinach , aloo Methi .I have one which is strictly reserved for dosas and surprisingly it requires very little oil . Another favorite of mine is tofu scramble for breakfast which comes out excellent with iron skillets. Also pulao.

    If you make rassewali sabzi or pasta with tomato base then go for enameled cast iron . Biryanis comes out really good in Dutch oven .

    Both need some maintanence with washing and seasoning so that’s the only con with cast iron .

    Yes, yes, I love those subzis with smoky flavor. That is very useful info! Thank you ! I am going to buy it, you will have to share your recipes with me though:blush: also had a question about Dutch oven in mind while looking on Macy’s & that too you answered, so thanks again.

    :roflmao: And poor alarm clocks think they can wake up Nandu when they progressively make louder sounds! You might have just tricked the alarm clock industry!:clapclap:

    Guess what pyaari @Naari havent hit the snooze button on the alarm... maybe except the alarm clock, nothing else can wake me up.... ofcourse post motherhood things changed....

    These days dd says to me mumma you are so cute like a lily:grinning:
