Yes I got them in oct & nov too. I think their strategy was to pull the customers back to the store in the hope that they will buy more once they hit the store. And I have noticed that locals don’t tend to get the dollar offs & math that well : meaning if it’s 10 off 25 & they end up buying a total of $50, that’s a 20% discount in % terms instead of 40% if you restrict your total to exact $25.. so I think the idea is to trick the customers who may not be that great in calculating discounts & understanding deals. If you want to buy more, it makes sense to break down your purchases into different transactions of $25 totals.. off course doesn’t work with big purchases like bedding sets etc.
Also think the stores would stop having such deals if everyone started using them to the optimum. The system works on the pillars of majority who fail to crack the code.
We are off to Cancun for a week...got an all inclusive resort ... can’t wait !! Will come back and shop. We will be looking for good deals on furnitures and kitchen appliances and of course clothes . If you are looking for jackets or trench coats , wait for deals on Patagonia , Columbia or LL bean . North face might run some sales too so I will be on a lookout
Yess! Big beary hugs for me . Hugs back to you, Nandini. Sorry and thanks for the heads-up. I'll try to do better . And big hugs for you, too. Sorry. Nice! Did you get good colors? Sounds like fun. How did it go? Wow! No movies? What do you do for entertainment? Judging from your crafts, I'd say you are definitely creative. Thanks @Naari ! I was too late to catch any deals last year. But I'm hoping you'll help me stay on top of things this year. Pretty please. Whoa! Nice! Let's change that! Spring is the best time to buy asparagus, but it's available year round. Here's an easy recipe that I learned thanks to Rihana and MalStrom: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. Cut off the bottom inch or so of each asparagus stalk. Peel off the hard woody parts of the stem. Wash and drain the asparagus, then put it in a bowl. Drizzle a little olive oil on it. Season with salt and pepper or chili powder. Toss gently. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the asparagus in a single layer on the sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy! Turkey dinner with the whole family. Shopping with you guys. Please post links to all the goodies. Bon voyage! Have an awesome holiday! We should all go on vacation together some day. Cancun will never be the same again! .
