the story of a girl

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Long back when i was a child I used to associate myself with this flower. The sunflower beaming with happiness, brightness and full of enthusiasm. In fact childhood is the representation of a sunflower. Today i am reminded about the story of a very carefree girl sunidhi. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Sunidhi, a girl of 7 years , born and brought up in a joint,middle-class, brahman family of lakhinpur.The only daughter of her engineer father and nursery teacher mother, was adored by everyone in the family. She was loved by her grandparents equally who used to take care of her when her parents were not there for her. she was courageous and daring and used to explore and observe things in her garden. She just used to love her time spent with nature in her home backyard garden. After coming back from school, she would have lunch and then go out in the open garden ,watch the flowers there, try to catch butterflies and sit under a shady tree and play her imaginary games. she would also make mud tablets and biscuits. [/FONT]


[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]For increasing the income in the family, a portion of the house was given for rent and a new family moved in . The couple was working and they had two servants. one driver and another helper who would cook and do the household work in their absence. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]The helpers used to watch her and then one day when she was out in the garden for long, one of the helpers did something bad to her , she was touched by that horrible man. He touched her private parts and tried to force himself on her. All this was done under her favourite shady tree. Although she was quick to escape but the memories of this incident continued for sometime. She asked questions regarding it to her family members, but they instructed her to forget about it. The family took a stance against the person and he lost his job.[/FONT]


[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]But ....the scars of that incident were seen in her teenage and youth.She was never comfortable with the males in her family or anywhere else. All the more she used to get scared if some one used to come in contact or touch her. The good part was that she preferred studying in convents But how long would she live in fear. Sometimes she would have disturbing sleeps. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]She went to a psychologist after taking up psychology in her graduation and post graduation days . To some extent the problem got solved. She went through her past memories and
got to the root of her problem. But the actual comfort came when she forgave that person and decided to move on.Now she is happily married and is a mother of two beautiful twin daughters .[/FONT]
