Guess dreams are the closest we can get, to live the reality of our creative imaginations.

Very true Kaniths. Only when the dream is potentially realizeable (not a head in the clouds kind of dream), but one can't actually do it for whatever reason, it is painful. Maybe a good technique would be to close one's eyes and imagine oneself living the dream.

    Dear Satchi,
It's ok even if dreams are not realized. But dreaming is a big outlet from mundane routine. It rejuvenates the life we are actually living (not the dream life) Just imagine a life without dreams!!!! How boring it would be!

    However let me try.
    I don't dream when I sleep
    I don't sleep when I dream.

Haha CS. So you don't sleep when you dream, so you dream when you are awake! :-D Oh well! Why not? Abdul Kalam, I am sure, had dreams. That is why he got our space programme to where it was!

    Dear Satchi,

haven't you heard of 'live in the moment?' That is the mantra. You know as I think back, i can not at all recollect if I was a dreamer or not. Forget dreams, I can't even remember some of the past events. Just yesterday, DH and a friend were stunned that I do not remember meeting a famous person - by buying an expensive ticket and even getting a hug from him and that I had volunteered in a school for a whole two months and can't recall ever doing it! :BangHead: I truly don't. Now, how do I remember those day dreams?

    Dear Sabitha,

It was living in the moment that took me on that ride into the past!!! I was watching a film, saw a guy take off on a moped on a long distance journey and it was in that moment that my mind went off on its retrograde journey!!! :) Yes, I need to get rid of that strong desire, otherwise I might have to come back here after making an exit only to fulfil that desire. Rather it is not fulfilled than come back here .....
