We went to a beautiful island called phuket in Thailand which was really picturesque.enjoyed the beaches, water sports like river rafting (which gave me the back pain,btw),saw lovely .sunsets,scenic spots.
People can select fresh water sea food.... there are so many squirming things in glass cases ....and pubs and bars that are open all thru the night. In short, a place where anything and everything is considered okay,or so I gathered

Tks' though I wrote in a lighter vein you make me feel very blessed indeed and I do thank God for these small pleasures that life brings in our way.

And the more I live the more I agree with your thinking. It is in a very matter of way that we go to buy ourselves presents and then keep them in lockers but things that are spontaneously done for each other,the warm glow does remain for a longer time.
