The basic character of an Indian Husband.... What is acceptable and what is not?

Why the man (husband) should bother about waking up someone who is pretending to sleep... Why cant he let them sleep or do whatever they want.. It is not the issue of what others are doing... It is the matter of what a husband is doing.

Let say your mom is lying... You know you cant change her after a certain age... So what? Let her lie as far as she wants, but you stop believing her. It simple, you just need to stand by your wife (if you know clearly that your mom is lying and not your wife) and say it is your personal life so you know how to handle it.. You are not a child anymore to get daily guidance from your mom, but you are a DAD now and it wouldnt be nice for your kid to see you as another dependent kid... You can convey this message to your mom in an understanding polite tone, so she too wouldnt be upset, but would try to learn to behave herself.

Draw the line between two important woman in life isnt a big deal... But many men do not want to do it.

 

This is what I dont understand... even my husband didnt allow his mom to have a say about his studies or career before marriage, but after marriage he was ready to quite his job and do all the bad deeds to destroy our family as per his mom's request.
