    Hi all,

    I am not sure this post should come in this or not. Although Mangalsutra (a) thaali (tamil) is not related to fashion, in recent times, variety of designs come out in market.

    Thought of sharing some of them. Post here if you have any designs.

    Are these designs of thaali?! But, good designs.

    Yes. Pictures in your second posts are mangalsutras.

    Yes. they are thaali models. Every culture has their own type of customs and design. I guess some of them which I posted here are used in West Bengal regions.


    Even I felt that they do not look like regular thaali / mangalsutra that we are used to see.

    I could not find any models in online which has two 2 small cups at the side and beads.

    Arey, how can I be when senior students like you who was helping me a lot that time, is no more active in that thread.:). May be we can start it again if everbody's time permits. what say sujatha?!
