Do you feel that you are still not ready to "take the plunge"?

Marriage, and a commitment to share life with someone til death do us part, is probably the biggest decision you take in your life. If we’ve been brought up in a home where we watch our parents’ relationship continue to blossom like a lifelong flower, we have a lot greater chance of looking forward to the magic of our own marriage.

However, the view of marriage that we get to see and sometimes are told about is that after marriage we’ll have to live certain roles, meet certain expectations, and sacrifice our freedom and even a part of who we are!
It is true that there is always a big difference between being with a person for many years and actually living together after marriage! Both the partners have certain expectations of what their marriage "should" be like. Specially when you feel that you know each other very well.

All said and done, it is also true that you cannot keep running from this institution your entire life! And marriage has its beautiful side too. It is not just about sacrificing a part of your original self… but about being committed to someone who completes you! No, its not a dialogue from a Yash-Raj movie! in the begining you do feel that there are a lot of diferences between the two of you, but gradually you grow into loving these differences. And responsibilities? They come as an extra package with the gift of life, to make your life more meaningful. Imagine a life without responsibilities. It is like a job without any job satisfaction! So don’t run away from marriage… enjoy the beautiful knot instead!

    Have a happy married life!

    Grear article once again.

I also like the sentence--"It is not just about sacrificing a part of your original self...but about being committed to someone who completes you".
This article must also be read by those who grumble after their marriage saying that " I shouldn't have married at all". I referring only to those persons who are afraid of taking the responsibilty which comes through marriage.
