Three whistles, then reduce the flame for 5 minutes and then off the stove. Try it. Kids love it a lot. Syamala
I have a tip for this...In Cooker, I place a steel glass in the middle and put the mango pieces in the glass and proceed with usual procedure. Everything is done at once and dal is also properly cooked since they dont touch each other
