Garrison Keillor is often called our National Treasure. His Radio Show ended a few years ago; before that he was part of our Saturdays for a long long time. Even though we were in the age of the Television, we still listened to that radio show, called The Prairie Home Companion.

Here is a taste: A Prairie Home Companion for March 31, 2007

In the latter day, he even ventured to have a few of his shows televised. Here is one skit from the televised show:

Radio listening as in sitting and listening to it at home is now for me a childhood memory. Somehow, I haven't been able to incorporate that into my life even as "audio" listening. I need to have a video with a frozen slide or picture on it as I listen to an audio book or lecture.

After I got the wireless earbuds, it has become easier to listen to some long ago sounds, e.g., from the 1980's Prairie Home Companion, and go on doing the whatever physical work.
