Re: Moms why don't u share the talents of ur kids Dear Shreesundaram, Very nice to hear about your daughters. Now a days we cant see girls like this. Really :hatsoffto you, you gave them a very good culture and introduced our custom. They both are lucky to have a mother like you. May God bless your family.
Hello IL moms & dads.. Its such a nice feeling to sit back and take a moment to write about our kids's acheivements, no matter how big or small and suprising to see the amount of energy and exposure of knowledge they have !! My 4 year old, Sahana, is very creative and imaginative.. She enjoys sigining and listening to music and slowly is learning classical music. She loves playing the keyboard and explores it playing various tunes, and is irght now taking skating lessons. She is fun and pleasure to be with, vey helpful and caring and has high power of observation and very very inquisitive like Curious George !! I take pride is saying that we are very best friends... -Shilpa
Dear Krishnamma, Thank you for those nice words. Her arangetram went on well with all your blessings. I am waiting for the professional photographers photos so that i will be able to post them in IL. The photographs have come out well and we have ordered for copies. But in the mean time the photographer is ill and hence is not in a position to give the copies now. Since about 70 students participated in the program it is taking a little longer for the dance teacher to place orders and get things done. The photographs we took are not upto the mark anyway i will post them and a video clipping of one of the dances tomorrow. Kindly bare with me till such time.
Hi Shilpa, It is very good to encourage the children, even it is a simple thing. The very very good thing is that feeling proud of children's small small talents. If we reveal this proud to them we will get more output from them. The very very very good thing is that you both are best friends. :hatsoff Keep it up and our best wishes to your sweet sahana{nice raaga}, regards SHREESUNDARAM
Thank you very much Krishnaamma, As dedicated mother, in future, i wish to hear the words from my daughters as you wrote. Once again thank you for your BLESSING. It is also our culture that "it is too good to getting blessing from elders" regards SHREESUNDARAM
Hi All, I know, I am very late to this thread.... But still it is OK..... I have two boys of age 7 and 5 (in feb, he will be 5). Elder one is Rohan and he is in 2nd grade. Very good boy!! He is good to everybody. Helps me in household things, helps his teachers, helps his dad. Apart from this, he is very good at studies too. He got his 'Honor Roll' from KG to till date. He goes to Kumon and he is doing his 3 digit divisions. He is 'ORANGE belt' in Karate. He goes for PIANO classes too. In dec he had his first recital. He is good at gymastics and drawing. He is very creative. All these things are his plus points.. His negatives : He is very much obsessed with animals esp. reptiles. He does hasty mistakes in math. He speaks very fast and in back home nobody could understand him. He is big scary cat, he is afraid to go to bathroom all by himself. Second one is SAMIK, he is in pre-k. He is good observer. He learns most of the things from his brother. He is a fast learner. He speaks very clearly. He speaks English, kannada and Tamil. He sings songs well. (I have to plan for his classes). He is very daring and gets into fight very quickly. He is quite opposite to his brother. He messes up the house, never listens to me. Argues back. He is a poor eater (never eaten rice and sambar till now) Still is pet to everybody because of his sweet talks. He is a big fan of RAJNI KANTH. He calls himself 'SUPER STAR'. ~Punitha
