Taking gold bars to India

Hai Friends ,
I want to take gold bars for my sister in law .I am planning to take 4 to 6 of 1 ounce bars to India. will there be any problem with customs in hyderabad ?I have heard that they are checking very strictly in hyderabad .Do anyone have idea about how will be the customs in hyderabad?Have you or any of your friends took gold bars to hyderabad ?If so how recently did that happen?
