By this time most of you must have been aware abotu swathy's gory death in Nungambakkam train station, chennai. For those who do not know about it..click on the link below.. ‘I watched Infosys techie's gory death from 50 yards for 3 minutes’ - Times of India Just few random thoughts.. 1) I do not understand why each and everyone sitting behind a computer blames the spectators constantly for not preventing swathy's death. It happened in a "jiffy","unexpected moment" and am sure even those who comments on others ,may not be able to help.even if it was our own kith and kin. 2) However, some could have run behind the murderer and in this day and age,it will take few seconds to atleast click the photo of the guy. 3)Kindly refrain from accepting fb requests from strangers you don't know.Feminism, etc etc is one thing but better safe than worry. 4)If someone is staking you, please let someone know about it and trust your gut instinct.Do not ignore. Anyways, the beautiful, bright girl is nomore...All her and her parents dream are crushed due to some creepy, disgusting creature in the form of a human(the murderer).Hopefully, she gets the justice. Indian laws have to be stricter .If not hanging, give him life sentence not 14 years BUT forever!!! He should be put in the worst prison in India and suffer for his deeds.. RIP swathi.....
As per the statement of eye witness a different person had slapped her many times weeks back. She had been quite all the while. So there is more story to her murder. May be she was at fault and that is why she remained silent. But my biggest question is, is killing the girl a solution to whatever the issue was? Guys expect girls to act according to their whims and fancies. And if a girl resists, they become violent. Shame on men! May Swathi RIP.
so true, some want to possess a woman, not love a woman. women should n't ignore so many warning signs the abusers shows first, it should be stopped there with the help of parents and police. police and law with counselors (all should be approachable with small issues also) is really needed because parents can't do much.
