    Dear Maa, Amma, Mom, Mummy, Aayi…
    I remember, when I was small, I used to shout and cry,
    You patiently sat with me and hugged me till I am quiet
    When I was teenager, you became my friend,
    I remember how we shared things till the day end
    We laughed, we cried, we planned so many things,
    And you explained me on each step what life brings
    Now I am big and all grown up,
    I know to express my feelings everyday is tough
    Though you are in my thoughts every day,
    But let me take this opportunity on this special Day
    To let you know how much you mean,
    Your endless love is on which I’ll always lean
    I know I’ll be a part of you throughout my life
    So here comes the wish from my side…
    “Happy Mother’s Day” to my Dear Mom
    Thanks for always being there in whatever that comes.

    quran says: paradise lies in the feet of a mother, this indeed is true.A mother is the one who right from the beginning of her journey towards motherhood, does many "little to big" sacrifices.
    She loses her sleep, to ensure a goodnight sleep to her kids.
    She satisfies her hunger just by seeing her child eat.
    She just stands by her child when the whole world is against.

    God's mercy is our mom.
    The one easy way to get into paradise is our mom.
    So we should take a good care if her as she took of us when we were new to this world, every thing that we know is taught by the mother first and then the other people.
    There is nothing as big as a mother's love in this whole world.

    i am so happy to read this contest and i am obliged to offer my wordy treats to my beautiful moms god has given me.
    firstly, i got my mom and then i got another mom in form of my MIL which again i see as a gift of god.
    And it is again a mercy for me that i too will be a mother soon.
    may allah showers mercy on all the mothers in this world.
    may allah grant them good health and a long life...

    Just a thought...
    Aren't the mothers of girls a little more sacrificing because they share even their title AMMA after their daughters marriage....

    You held my hand and taught me to hold a pencil,
    When i lost faith in myself, you taught me to be strong willed.
